As many of you might already know, Talent Show was on Thursday, November 18, 2010. My group and I were anxious to go onstage, becuase we had waited for this moment long enough, and we knew that we were ready for it. I have to be honest the competition was tough, becuase there were many great acts and performances. There were dance groups, singers, and bands. Each and every one of them was amazing. Unfortunately, we did not win, and I have to admit, I was a little disappointed. I soon got over this feeling though, and I realized that it wasn't about wining or losing, it was about having fun and doing what we love to do. This was my first time on stage and I was extremely nervous, but once I got on that stage, all my fears went away and I know I did great. I definitely liked the feeling and the experience, and I hope to do it again next year.I want to congratulate every single one of those people who got onstage, because even though they didn't win, they were already winners for getting this far.

It looks like you had a lot of fun, and that is what matters! Like you said the feeling of loosing doesn't last very long, but the feeling of having fun lasts awhile. I dance 3 times a week, and have a final performance at the end of the year for family and friends. I love dancing on stage and showing what I have learned, but when I was little I was also so nervous about it! Are you going to do the talent show next year?
